Register Your Event
HOKIE HI Welcome Week is a series of programs and events designed to welcome new freshmen and transfers, as well as returning Hokies back to campus for the start of the academic year. If your organization or department is planning an event that will occur between August 17 and September 3, 2011, consider registering your event with HOKIE HI.
Why should I register my event?
Ten thousand copies of the Welcome Guide booklet will be distributed to all residence halls rooms and various locations across campus. Information about HOKIE HI events will also be given to local apartment complexes. The HOKIE HI website will be listed in the New Student Orientation schedule. Inclusion in the HOKIE HI publicity will allow your event to be advertised to thousands of VT students.
What are the guidelines to be included in the HOKIE HI publicity?
- Event must be sponsored by a recognized student organization or university department
- Event must be open to all VT students
- Event must be alcohol free
- Event must be held between August 17 and September 3, 2011
How do I register my event?
Registration is simple! Complete the HOKIE HI Event Registration form. Download the form on the right and email completed form to rasparks@vt.edu
